I had to think of Lord of the Rings as I saw my photo so I chose a title derived from the film...
430ex to illuminate the background
As ~MarcosBnPinto mentioned thinking of Shelob would be far more obvious Nonetheless I had to think of the Nazgûl so I won't change the title to a Shelob-related one though it really would make more sense...
Personally, though, I didn´t liked the deisng they used for Shelob there... in fact, I always thought on her( form the book )much more alike the one you take , as above!
I have to admit I didn't even think of Shelob though it would have been more obvious since she's a spider
I had to think of the scene in which the Nazgûl's dragon is offered to eat Théoden. Now that you mentioned Shelob I've no idea why I came to think of a Nazgûl and its dragon...
And I, too, imagined her in a way more like in this photo. Shelob needs longer legs, a thinner body and why the hell does she have a sting in her back?! I'm glad you like my photo
Ja klar. Ich hab es ersetzt durch eins in höherer Auflösung. An der Fliege wird man aber im Gegensatz zur Spinne nicht viele Details finden können, die ist nur an der Kopfspitze im Fokus drin.
I guess that they confounded a spider with a wasp...
Other than that, the creature you captured on this photo actually looks morelike Shelob, indeed( it was meant that she had "spikes" over her legs )
Well... if it were like so, so it would be by bye, Mr. Baggins^^
( Heh. Speaking on that, I still remember when Hugo Weaver - who was Elrond appeared by the first time on the movies... I couldn´t help but chuckle remembering him as agent Smith, on "Matrix" and "hear" him say "Missssssssster Baggins" )
